Building the Second QuailPod / Greenhut – Expanding Our Quail Setup!

At Undique, we’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our quail-raising setup. Over the past six months, I’ve been using a grow tent as an indoor quail pod, and it has worked fantastically well. But as our flock grows and we refine our systems, it was time to go bigger!
That’s why I’m excited to announce that we’ve built our second QuailPod / Greenhut—this time using the 10×5 Grow Tent (120″x60″x78″). This larger version provides more space, better ventilation, and improved access, making it an even more efficient and comfortable environment for our quail.
Why Use a Grow Tent for Quail?
You might be wondering—why a grow tent? While traditionally used for indoor gardening, grow tents are actually an amazing solution for quail:
✅ Controlled Environment – Keeps drafts, temperature, and humidity stable.
✅ Easy to Clean & Maintain – The enclosed space simplifies waste management.
✅ Efficient Use of Space – Perfect for small-scale or urban quail setups.
✅ Protection from Predators – Extra security for indoor or garage setups.
I’ve been running the smaller model for a while now, and it has exceeded my expectations. Seeing how well it worked, scaling up just made sense.
